Beginning Knitting 2 pm & 6 pm [1]

A free beginner's knitting class to learn casting on, the knit stitch (garter stitch), and casting off. The project is an Infinity scarf. Please call the Kelso Library to sign up: 360 423-8110.

Supply list:
1 ball Loops & Threads "Charisma" Bulky (#5) yarn from Michaels (109 yards per ball) and
#17 knitting needles (straight or circular)

OR Alternative yarns:
Lion Brand "Wool Ease" Super Bulky (#6) - 106 yards per ball, OR
Lion Brand "Wool Ease" Chunky (#5), OR
Bernat Softee Chunky (#5), OR

Any other yarn with a weight category #5 or #6

If using a thinner yarn you would need thinner needles but still recommend using a few sizes larger than the label suggests.
